The Good The Bad The Weird (2008) DvDrip

The background is the wilderness of 1930s Manchuria. The Bad (a hitman) is hired to acquire a treasure map from a Japanese official traveling on a train, The Weird (a thief) steals the map from the Japanese official when he robs him on the train. The Bad just after manages to stop the train and a slaughter of Japanese and Manchurian guards ensues. The Good (a Bounty hunter) appears on the scene with his shotgun in hand and tries to kill The Bad. Meanwhile The Weird manages to escape to the Ghost Market, to figure the map out and escape from his pursuers. In this unpredictable, escalating battle for the map with the Japanese Army, and Manchurian bandits also after the map, who will survive and claim the supposed treasure?

Geng: The Adventure Begins (Malay) (2009) DVDRip

‘Geng: Pengembaraan Bermula’ is a 1st fully 3D animated CGI film produced 100% in Malaysia. It is really a much awaited movie by many of us especially those that involves in the animation and 3D industry.

This film is about the adventure of a newly-know-each-other group of friends in Kampung Durian Runtuh. Currently there is unsolved mystery surrounding the case of missing durians in that village. Based from the key witness who is Tok Dalang, which happen to be, Badrol’s grandfather, the thief is a vicious monster that comes out during night and also stalking the villagers. Once after Badrol watch his grandfather in TV, he then quickly rush off to his village together with his friend, Lim. When both of them reached the village, they immediately (maybe accidentally) get to know Upin, Ipin, Rajoo and Ros and in just a short time, they are already in their roller coaster adventures and doing the escape stunts from the monsters and giants.

The peaceful Kampong Durian Runtuh is suddenly disturbed by a fearsome beast that lurks at night. However, no one dares to find out what it is until Badrol, Lim and their newfound friends stumble upon the very heart of the mystery. A small peculiar otherworldly animal befriends Rajoo and brings the whole gang on an adventure deep into the exotic Malaysian rainforest filled with dangerous animals, including an age-old mystical giant snake.

Herr Tartüff (1925) DvDrip

How typical of the great German director F. W. Murnau that he used Moliere's scathing satirical comedy Tartuffe as a launching pad for an extended exercise in expressionism. Emil Jannings plays the title character, a religious hypocrite who capitalizes upon the piety of others to line his own pockets. Lusting after Elmire (Lil Dagover), the daughter of gullible millionaire Orgon (Werner Krauss), Tartuffe all but convinces Orgon to hand over Elmire -- and all his land holdings -- on a silver platter in exchange for Divine absolution. On the verge of triumphantly taking over Orgon's mansion and tossing the old man out, Tartuffe is foiled by the deux ex machina arrival of an emissary of the King, who arrests the "hero" for his chicanery (this final scene was imposed upon Moliere by the French censors; originally, Tartuffe got away with his crimes). In his efforts to make the property more cinematic, Murnau adds a framing story concerning an old woman who tries to cheat an old man out of a fortune while the two of them watch a theatrical performance of the Moliere play. Chock full of offbeat camera angles, forced-perspective sets, and spiderlike shadows, Tartuff owes more to The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari than it does to Moliere. Emil Jannings went on to collaborate with Murnau in the director's next production, a lavish adaptation of Goethe's Faust.
